ACLS Provider Course

(Advance Cardiac Life Support)

Course Description


The ACLS Provider Course provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest. Providers are expected to learn to manage 10 core ACLS cases: a respiratory emergency, four  types of cardiac arrest (simple VF/VT, complex VF/VT, PEA and asystole), four types of prearrest emergencies (bradychardia, stable tachycardia, unstable tachycardia and acute coronary syndromes) and stroke.

 Intended Audience


Personnel staffing emergency, intensive care or critical care departments; emergency medical providers such as physicians, nurses, emergency technicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists and other professionals who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency.

Certification:  ACLS Provider Card of AHA given to those who pass written / skill exam conducted at the end of the course.

Eligibility Criteria

bulletMedical graduate (Special category: BAMS, BHMS, BPT can be considered on individual basis depending on there experience in clinical settings) 
bulletBDS candidates are eligible depending on there experience 
bulletNursing candidates with minimum one year ICU experience are eligible
bulletParamedics (science, commerce and arts graduate) not included
bulletBLS Certificate require to do ACLS

Fees for ACLS is 6000 INR. (BLS+ACLS)

The candidate selection among the special category is subject to approval by directors and chief faculty as it highly important to understand that only medical graduates and nursing staff are allowed to give allopathic medications according to drug administration law.

Registration does not guarantee passing in the course.
